This garden in Brixton had lots of potential and the clients were keen to have a serious go at growing their own vegetables, herbs and salads and also wanted a good sized entertaining area that could accommodate friends and family. Originally a small lawn was on the wish list but given the small area the design instead uses camomile as a lawn area that can still be walked on and harvested once established. Oak was used to build high backed seating and raised beds for vegetables and ornamental planting.
