This tiny walled garden was in a state of disrepair after renovation and extension of a garden flat. Working with the clients we found a number of ways to achieve the garden that they wanted in a small space and with a limited budget. A stunning established Camelia japonica was retained to give the new small garden design a mature feel. Calm, cool colours were used to paint the boundaries, raised beds and seating to harmonise the garden as an extension of the contemporary interior. Culinary herbs, star jasmine and lavender were planted to give scent and additional colour to the space.
